Too beautiful for earth

"They were just too beautiful for earth."

God didn't allow your baby to die because they were too beautiful for earth. We are all created in the image of God to reflect Him and that is beautiful. But death is not the result of too much beauty.

Even Jesus, fully God and fully man, humbled himself and came down to earth to serve and to save. Nothing is more beautiful than Jesus and He came down to earth.

Philippians 2:6-7 "...who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men."

I almost didn't do this one because it’s a silly phrase and I think everyone *knows* it's not factual, even those who say it. But I’ve heard it a lot and you likely have too. This one also makes me chuckle a little because of what it implies about the rest of us. Ha!
